Crawl, head up,

Flat on mat, his

Forearms, and elbows 

Pulled him across the space.


Squatted down, hands on

Mat, head tucked to chest,

Feet pushed forward, rolled,

Seated position,

Hands wrapped around knees.



Kneaded

Skin of bags

Carting client,

Unknown fuzz sloughed off

Each time when oil applied.


Friday regular

Lost his business suit,

Literary talk-

Books, gossip- his moans,

Permeated time.



Opened

Sauna door

Caused furtive hands

To shift until the

Newcomer recognised.


History, vital 

Signs, he took off his 

Shirt, heart, lungs stethed, lay 

Back down, palpated, 

Sat up, put on shirt.
